Wooddevotion is a company primarily dedicated to woodturning and woodsculpting.  The founder and primary artist is Gene Chernyak, MD, self-taught in woodcrafts, who has been growing his craft in woodturning and other visual arts for many years.  Woodcrafts have become his life’s passion and obsession.  In different series of works, you will notice the various techniques, woods, and aesthetics he has introduced into his portfolio.  He has been inspired deeply by natural shapes, forms, and textures.
