My name is Gene Chernyak and my main passion for the past 8 years has been working with wood.  My goal has been to achieve perfect form while incorporating the natural qualities of the wood.  I strive to attain a specific shape following classical patterns, the golden rule, etc.  I also pay great attention to specific textures and colors.

My designs are inspired by different sources, mainly from nature, culture, and the works of others.
