This group was designed to include some old-fashioned elements of  the 18th century. All pieces were hollowed, heavily carved, and colored.

All pieces were done from pear.

I call this grouping "sepia", may be because of the color. Design was symmetrical. A lot of woodburning was involved. Warm colors, ranging from yellow to deep brown, is a natural burned color. Color is dependent on temperature and the tool used.

Decorations were done with a high speed carver.
