These pieces were done from black birch.

Black birch is pretty dull wood without any prononced wood figure. But this wood is very stable, especially when green, allowing to turn very thin walls vessels. All pieces has preserved bark. Pieces were extensively carved following wood grain, textured. Coloring was done using

colored waxes.
