These pieces were done from mango. It is a very workable wood with interesting colors ranging from light yellow to brown- green. Some pieces were inlayed with color metal.
Lately I have been enjoying these wavely shapes.
Pear. I like working with pear. It is a pleasure to carve. It can be burned to different shades of brown or black.
