The natural live edge has been preserved, creating an irregular organic rim that follows the original form of the burl. Spectacular grain moves throughout the piece with waves, curls, spalting, natural color changes, and dramatic figuring visible both inside and outside.

The generous 8.5-inch interior depth gives the bowl an impressive sense of scale. The eyeglasses shown in one photograph help demonstrate just how large this piece really is.
